DESCRIPTION:Somerset Wildlife Trust has launched a Hedgehog Heroes campaign to help\, and provide homes for this increasingly threatened species. There were 30 million hedgehogs across the UK in the 1950s. Now there are just 900\,000. Many people in Somerset will never have seen one. Visit somersetwildlifetrust.co.uk and complete a form to receive a free information pack\, and to receive\, from August 1st three months of emails with news and advice. And from September 11-18 the Trust will be holding its first ever hedgehog count.
