DESCRIPTION:Royal Air Forces Association Mid-Somerset Branch Meeting with a Presentation by Alan Whitfield from Weston Helicopter Museum titled “An Engineers Journey from Metal File to Software File”. \nIt will cover his career from apprenticeship in the Royal Navy\, working as an helicopter engineer both in the RN and as a civilian\, becoming a Control Engineering Designer and culminating as a Software Engineer. \nThere will be an optional lunch at 1:00pm chosen from the Golf Club menu. \nAll events are open to Branch Members\, RAFA Members from other Branches\, Current and Ex-RAF Service Personnel (Including RAF Reserves)\, Current and Ex-Members of Commonwealth Air Forces\, Members of the “RAF Family” and members of the public that support the aims and purpose of RAFA.
