Bradley Hill

(This walk has views out over the moors. It is best talen in summer as it can be very muddy in winter.)

Make your way to Northfield. Take the first left, Bradley Hill Lane, passing an electricity sub-station on your left. Follow this lane, steadily climbing, for about a mile and continue when the tarmac ends, then turn right along a track signed “bridle path”. This track, which is an old Saxon boundary ditch, curves around Bradley Hill giving extensive views to Dundon Beacon and the Polden Hills. When you reach a metalled road turn right and follow the road along the ridge back to Somerton, with more extensive views across the Cary Valley. At the road junction turn right and you are back in Northfield.
APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES 4.8KM
