Somerton Summer Arts Festival has been short listed in the Western Gazette Wish Campaign to win £5000. To win this money the Festival needs your votes. The Voting Slips are printed in the Western Gazette every Thursday until the 10th of May.These voting slips can be dropped off at Williams Supermarket in the box provided or posted direct to the Western Gazette. The code number for the Somerton Summer Arts Festival is 2 4
Closing date for receipt of votes at Costcutters is Wednesday 16th May at 5pm so the festival can then post them on to the Western Gazette.

2012 is the Festivals 25th Anniversary. To celebrate this we are having the marquee for the 9 days so we can accommodate the big name bands. For 2012 we have listened to you and have booked many of your favourite acts that you have requested, including Herman's Hermits and The Firebirds, tribute bands to Queen, Take That and Madness plus the ever popular Welsh choir namely Cwmbach Male Choir to name just a few.

So put these dates in your diary and support the 2012 festival, its promising to be a great one.

The Somerton Summer Arts Festival is organised by a small committee of unpaid volunteers and its aim is to provide a wide variety of entertainment for the local community and beyond. The 25th Somerton Festival promises to be entertaining and good value for money. The Festival Committee has worked hard throughout the year to bring to Somerton a diverse selection of music, drama, talks and arts.
