13th 5-8pm  Langport Recreational Field  GIRLS FOOTBALL FETE We are starting up a brand new girls’ football team in the Somerton & Langport area. To give things a kick-start we are holding a Football Fete for all potential players & their parents to come to. After receiving significant interest from girls at Huish Episcopi Science College, we have invited them all (over 50 girls from years 7-9) to come along. There will be opportunities for them to learn some skills, have a go at the inflatable penalty shoot out, generally have fun and meet the senior team & coaches. We have invited parents along too, as their support will be essential in sustaining the Under 13s & Under 15s teams we aim to run. For them, there will be a licensed bar and also a raffle, for which we are asking local businesses to contribute prizes.
