Once again this year the Unicorn Hotel plays host to our Dance Music Evening, showcasing local DJ Talent playing popular styles to include Dubstep, Drum and BassTechno, Hard Trance and Psytrance. This event is brought to you by Revolution Promotions in association with Carolyn Tether, a leading sound engineer and youth worker. 5K PA by Groove Switch. The Two Beatles
Returning to the Festival by popular demand are the Two Beatles. They are a professional tribute duo re-creating the sights and sounds of arguably the very best band in the world…ever! They perform with perfect harmony vocals, exquisite musicianship and accurate costume change. With a precise and energetic stage show, the Two Beatles recreate the sights and sounds of the 60’s with an incredible eye for detail and outstanding talent which really is second to none! Brendan, who takes on most of the John Lennon parts, is an accomplished musician and an experienced performer, with literally years of appearances behind him. Guy takes most of the McCartney classics as well as popping up the odd Harrison and Starr tunes from time to time. He also plays most of the lead guitar parts. One of their recent appearances was on the “One Show”.

FAB 208 – Glam Rock/Punk
“The Utter Glam Masters” … The “Bristolian Magazine”. “FAB 208” have been together since the spring of 1992 and have become firmly established as one of the west’s best known 70’s tribute bands. The FAB 208 visual show features plenty of glitter, sequins, flares and 70’s classics; Shangalang, Blockbuster, 20th Century Boy, Heroes, Get it on, Crazy Horses, Coocachoo to name a few. Band highlights include appearing at Bristol’s Colston Hall in November 2007; headlining a 70’s show at Rodney Parade, Newport; starring at the UK Harley Davidson convention; touring with Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers; appearing with Slade and the Rubettes; supporting the Glitter Band at many UK gigs; supporting Roy Wood (Wizard) on his Christmas Tour; appearing at Liverpool’s Cavern Club; appearing at Bristol’s Harbour Regatta on three occasions; performing at the Bristol community festival and featuring on HTV’s “Spotlight” show. www.fabulous208.co.uk
