Spot the Object Competition
Friday 20th June to Friday 18th July 2008
This popular competition is open to all. It will run from the 20th of June to the 18th of July and is split into two age groups -15 years and under, and 16 years and over.
Certain shops and businesses in Somerton are taking part and will be displaying an object in their window which they would not normally sell, - a cricket bat in a butchers window would be a fairly obvious example. All you have to do is find the "Spot The Object" sticker and see if you can spot the object in the window and write it down in the relevant space on the entry form.
All participating shops will have entry forms so just drop in and ask for one. It's great fun so why not have a go. As well as finding the object we think you will be surprised at the range of goods that can be obtained in the local shops. We desperately need to keep our local shops so please support them.
Entry to the competition is FREE. Forms are available from the ticket office in The London Cigarette Card Company Shop in West Street, Somerton. Entries must be handed in at the ticket office by 5.00pm on Friday 18th July.
There will be a prize for each age group for the first correct answer drawn out at the Cabaret Evening on 19th July
All competition answers and winners are displayed in the Ticket Office window during the week after the Festival.
