Snowman Hunt 2016

In Christmas 2016 Somerton Business & Trade Association organised a Snowman Hunt for 5 to 16 year olds.

38 beautiful lit up Snowmen were in the shop windows of the members of the Association at the beginning of December.

Each snowman had a number and all the youngsters have to do is to find the snowman and fill in their entry forms.

Two lucky winners were drawn just before Christmas and theyl received an identical snowman to keep.

The idea has been launched following the success for the first time last year of the Reindeer Hunt.

Hopefully this will attract more people to shop in the lovely town of Somerton over the Christmas period.

The local headmaster, Mr David Norton, has been very enthusiastic about the hunt and the local children could get forms form their school.

Entry forms were also be available from Stationery House Somerton.

The picture depicts Stephanie pleased as punch as she has got the first Snowman and the other traders have been left out in the cold.
