A souvenir programme full of information is published each year with free to enter competitions. Its fair to say that there really is something for everyone.
When the original Festival was thought of it's aims were:-
To promote Somerton by investing in a culture which encourages Community involvement & enjoyment
To bring a varied programme of professional entertainment to Somerton, including the funding of developmental & educational events at the schools.
To provide value for money, by keeping ticket prices as low as possible and by providing free family entertainment where possible.
This is still true today
