TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL COUNCIL
COMMITTEE 'CEMETERY':
The Cemetery Committee has the following areas of competence and responsibility:
1. To oversee and plan for the future operation of the Cemetery in Somerton, in conjunction with the Town Clerk and the Council’s employee, who are responsible for the day-to-day management of the site.
2. To consider the level of charges levied for the use of the Cemetery facilities.
3. To establish a written, annual Committee budget, in the autumn of each year, for approval by the Town Council, to enable the approved works to be undertaken.
