DESCRIPTION:The Somerset Bus Partnership is holding a “Bus Stall” outside Somerton Library on Saturday 31st August from 10am – 12 noon. I shall be there\, so do drop by to say hello and ask any questions about buses or indeed public transport in general.\nAs ever\, if there are any questions/comments don’t hesitate to get in touch. \nMartyn Smith\n \nFrom 1st September the 77 is being replaced by an extended service 376 which for most services will run from Yeovil through to Bristol and vice versa. I have indicated which services run right through and it takes about 75 minutes from Wells to Bristol. There are later services from Bristol as far as Street.\nI am very disappointed by the poor timetabling which sees a 54 from Somerton to Yeovil at 1145 and a 376 at 1147 and then a 376 at 1342 and a 54 at 1345. It’s hard to believe that these two services are run by different arms of the same company!! I have written a letter of complaint to our MP\, who says she is passionate about public transport and she has promised to write to FirstBus to complain.
