DESCRIPTION:Recreation Ground D-Day Picnic and Fun Day. \nOn the Sunday we are holding a D-Day picnic and fun day for all residents\, this is a free to attend event and there will be plenty of free activities to get involved in\, we hope there will be something for everyone\, young and old. \nThere will be games and stalls\, a climbing wall\, rides\, musicians and singers\, coconut shy\, drum bus\, children’s crafts\, and a circus workshop and lots of war time exhibits including vehicles\, uniforms\, rations etc. \nWe welcome the offer of local clubs\, organisations\, businesses and societies having stalls on the day to either promote themselves or to raise funds for their causes. \nIf you would be interested in participating in this day’s events please get in touch\, we are in need of volunteers for the day and also if you would like to have a stall/stand/ game etc please let us know and I will forward the relevant form to you.
