Somerton Town Council and Somerton Festival present the Lighting of the Beacon in Somerton Recreation Ground

There will be live music, food and a bar between 6.30pm and 10.30pm, with the beacon being lit at 9.45pm.

WALK IN ONLY EVENT.  VEHICLE ACCESS FOR BLUE BADGE HOLDERS.

Lets all have a wonderful time celebrating HM the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Recreation Ground needs to be cared for so : –

Please do not bring your own alcohol – buy it at the Bar.

The field is not licenced for people to drink own alcohol.

Please do not bring any GLASS,or DOGS.

We have rubbish bins – black bags for non-recyclable; clear bags for recyclable.

Blue Badge Holders will be directed through the Langport Road entrance to parking near to the MUGA.
