Charcoal Follow-up Workshop with Kate Lynch

This is a follow up session to the introductory charcoal drawing mornings and is being offered to those who participated in the first drawing workshops in May and June.

A morning charcoal drawing session working on exercises to develop techniques as well as ways of looking, seeing and abstracting.
There will short mark-making challenges, both collaborative and individual, followed by a chance to work up a more considered piece of work.

All materials supplied, (but you can bring A2 cartridge or watercolour paper optional).

Kate is an experienced artist and teacher who is enthusiastic about the potential of charcoal for individual expression.
She has used it over many years for her own landscapes and portraits of Somerset farmers and craftspeople.
