St Margaret’s Hospice – Dalai Lama Charity Trek 2023

Join Team St Margaret’s for an unforgettable fundraising adventure in 2023. We are excited to announce our new international trek to the breath-taking location of the Himalayas, the home of the Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan community.

The challenge; Taking place from 3-14 November 2023, this once in a lifetime adventure has everything, from the madness of Delhi to the beauty and tranquillity of the Indian Himalaya. The route follows the Uhl River, through the heart of the world’s highest mountain range in Dharamsala, where the Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan community are located. The region remains largely unvisited, which makes it a pristine and unspoilt area to explore via foot.

We are holding information evenings on the following dates where you can find more details about the adventure and register your interest:

Tuesday 1^st November 2022, 6.00pm at our Yeovil Hospice, BA20 2HU
